As it turns out May is the low season and direct flights to Hawaii from Seattle are pretty reasonable. So an early (or late, depending on how you think about it) honeymoon was definitely called for.
Well this turned out to be a hell of an expensive trip, (note to self: remind the wife to insure her next engagement ring) but it was good to be home.
Yes, as it turns out Canada is not such a terrible place to go skiing (who would have thought?)
